The Villa collection is one of the testaments to true beauty. During World War II, many battles were fought in the forests, where today, we get our premium wood for our floors. It was discovered that the trees that have been cut down in that area had beautiful, extravagant patterns, as if Mother Nature took to the brush and painted a wonderful masterpiece. But that was not the case. The bullets from long ago were lodged in the wood, and after the components of the metal and sap merged into one, it created unique wood colorations and extraordinary grain patterns. This is the very signature of our Villa collection. Europe’s top designers were able to restore this miracle using time, deep care, and a specialized reactive stain process.
